👀  Overview

PandaDoc is a full-cycle digital document management SaaS. It enables users to create, send, track, and eSign documents from a single, intuitive, and easy-to-use platform. Furthermore, it can be integrated with a CRM to supercharge it.

The product itself is divided into the Marketing side at Pandadoc.com and the Core app available after signing up at app.pandadoc.com where were running projects described below.

🏢  Company structure

Our design team, consisting of more than 20 talented individuals, is structured around key solution areas like Growth, Monetization, Core, Integrations...

Each Track has Track Owner, Head of Design, Engineering Manager and multiple Product Designers, Product Managers, Engineering teams which operate as a focused unit, allowing for deep expertise and strategic thinking in their respective domains, while ensuring cross-team collaboration drives cohesive product experiences.

Analytics and UX research teams were formally assigned to specific tracks, but their limited numbers prevented them from being fully dedicated to any one area. At their peak, with up to five analysts and researchers, their contributions were more occasional due to resource constraints. And the last but not least - one UX writer who has been polishing our copywriting.

💻  How we work

Each designer independently leads initiatives and is responsible for the entire end-to-end process, covering all activities from:

Discovery → Design → Delivery → Evaluation

We work as a cross-functional team with a product manager, engineers, CSM, copywriter, and sometimes UX researchers and data analysts when they have the capacity or we desperately need their help for example with Tableau.

🙋‍♂️  What I do

In the Core track, I've worked alongside two brilliant designers, with minimal overlap in our projects. Our primary collaboration took place during regular internal critique sessions where we shared progress and gathered feedback.
